10:00AM - 1:00PM
United Congregational Church
877 Park Ave
Bridgeport, CT 06604
Organized and hosted by The Council of Churches of Greater Bridgeport and A Pinch of Salt, LLC, the Culinary Career Expo targets residents of Bridgeport who are interested in a career in the culinary industry or starting a food-based business, and would benefit from a networking opportunity with potential resources and accomplished personalities and organizations the field. The expo will be open to the public as well as the graduates of our intensive 12-Week Urban Eats Culinary Course who mastered basic cooking techniques during their time in the course.
Although you are welcome to recruit employees if you deem this to be an appropriate opportunity, the overall goal of the expo is not necessarily for attendees to find immediate employment. Rather, the goal is to expose attendees to the variety of career options within the culinary industry, inform them of the necessary steps to take in order to support a food based career, and allow them to network with future employers or resources for starting a business.
Please contact Michelle McCabe by February 1st with any questions or if you would like to participate at firstname.lastname@example.org or 203.334.1121 ext 16. Tables at this event are free of charge.
