All restaurants in Connecticut are required to have a certified food protection manager on staff. The ServSafe Manager course will certify you as a Certified Food Protection Manager, formerly known as the QFO. The CRA offers two different options for certification: In-person classes or Online Classes with Take Exam at Home. Both options meet the state requirement for certification.

Our instructors have an excellent record of success, with close to 90% of learners passing the ServSafe Manager exam on their first attempt. Our instructors will prepare you to get certified!

ServSafe Manager Online Course & Take Exam at Home (ProctorU)
The ServSafe Manager Online Course is ideal for individuals who wish to prepare to take the ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification Exam.
This interactive course has been designed using the latest techniques in learning theory, to deliver current food safety information, in a fun and easy-to-use format. The course covers critical principles including: personal hygiene, cross contamination, time and temperature, cleaning and sanitizing, and more. A practice exam is included at the end of the course to help prepare for the proctored ServSafe Manager Certification exam. All purchases of the ServSafe Manager Online Course are final. Once you begin the course, you will have 90 days to complete it, at which time the course will be deactivated. Schedule your exam at a time that’s convenient for you, all you need is a computer or laptop and a private location. The date you choose for registration is just for processing and will not be your exam date. Exam must be scheduled through Proctor U.
