WORKFORCE SOLUTIONS
ATTRACT | EMPOWER | ADVANCE | IMPACT
The hospitality industry offers great diversity in its career opportunities and growth potential.
The CT Hospitality Educational Foundation is focused on providing information and access to training for the industry's workforce so our workers can gain the skills they need to advance their careers.
THE NEXT GENERATION OF SKILLED LEADERS
The Connecticut Hospitality Educational Foundation has partnered with the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation to bring the Restaurant & Hospitality Leadership Center to Connecticut with nationally recognized apprenticeships in Line Cook, Restaurant Manager, Assistant Restaurant Manager, Kitchen Manager and Assistant Kitchen Manager.
The Restaurant & Hospitality Leadership Center is helping restaurant owners and managers across the U.S. provide the resources needed to help train and guide their best employees for a fulfilling career in food. We know equipping people with training and career guidance is how we create a more skilled workforce. That is why our nationally recognized apprenticeship program gives you the tools you need to provide those employees with the opportunity they deserve. Let's find tomorrows food leaders, elevate them along the path to a successful career, and raise standards across our industry.
APPRENCTICE SPOTLIGHT
The Pennsylvania Restaurant & Lodging Association (PRLA) recently celebrated the graduation of Line Cook apprentice Makayla Samler of Barley Creek Brewing Company of Tannersville, PA.
In receiving her certificate from PRLA, Makayla said, “I’m incredibly grateful to have been given this opportunity to participate in this program through Barley Creek Brewing Company. All of the support and encouragement this team gave me helped build the confidence to achieve something I never thought I would. With this always changing culture of the culinary world and restaurant industry, I have found a new respect for both the front and back of the house teams. Also, the importance of them working together. I’m so thankful for everything I learned and the experience I gained.”
