Restaurant Ready

Putting Underserved People on a Path to Employment and Independence
Restaurant Ready is a national program dedicated to helping people acquire the basic job and life skills necessary to pursue jobs in the restaurant industry, and jumpstart a pathway to independence.  LEARN MORE​

Apprenticeships
The NRAEF's Restaurant & Hospitality Leadership Center program provides both new and current restaurant and foodservice employees the opportunity to advance their careers and move into higher paying management positions. Funded by the US Department of Labor, the RHLC Training programs give restaurant leaders a pathway to recognize standout employees, both new and current, and give them an opportunity to grow their skills. Learn more about ServSafe Manager and related food safety training.

Are you a restaurant employee looking to gain more training and skills? Check out ServSuccess.
ServSuccess is the Association’s new career workforce development program.  ServSuccess provides learning opportunities across multiple career levels in a way that makes it convenient for our workforce to hone in on their skills and prepare for future career opportunities.  A Certificate of Completion will be provided once each course is fully viewed. 

ServSafe WorkPlaceServSafe Workplace provides Sexual Harassment Prevention Training and Unconscious Bias Training.

The Connecticut Hospitality Educational Foundation (CHEF) matches local businesses with the future of our industry through partnership at the high school and college level.
