Rizz Lounge & Grill is seeking an experienced, energetic, and hospitality-driven Bartender to join our growing team. We are an upscale dining and entertainment venue in Harbor Point, Stamford, offering elevated cuisine, handcrafted cocktails, live entertainment, and exceptional guest experiences. Requirements 

  • Previous bartending experience required (2+ years preferred) 
  • References required 
  • Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer 
  • Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment 
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills 
  • Professional appearance and demeanor 
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and late-night shifts 
  • Reliable transportation and punctuality 

Core Responsibilities 

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and quality standards 
  • Provide exceptional guest service while maintaining a welcoming and professional atmosphere 
  • Engage with guests and make recommendations based on their preferences 
  • Verify guest age and comply with all Connecticut liquor laws and regulations 
  • Accurately enter orders and process payments through the POS system 
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar at all times 
  • Monitor inventory and communicate restocking needs to management 
  • Assist servers with beverage preparation and service as needed 
  • Perform opening, closing, and side-work duties 
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout each shift 
  • Contribute to the overall guest experience and team success 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience in upscale dining, lounges, or cocktail-focused establishments 
  • Wine and spirit knowledge 
  • Experience creating specialty cocktails and upselling premium beverages 
  • Ability to work efficiently during live entertainment and high-volume service periods 

Physical Requirements 

  • Ability to stand for extended periods 
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
