Dear Connecticut Hospitality Community,

Today is Giving Tuesday, and I’m reaching out to ask for your support of the Connecticut Hospitality Educational Foundation (CHEF), the nonprofit arm of the Connecticut Restaurant Association.

CHEF delivers programs that help build and sustain Connecticut’s hospitality workforce. In case you aren’t familiar with the impactful work of CHEF, the Foundation provides:

• ProStart programming that equips high school students with real-world culinary and management skills

• Scholarships that open the door to higher education

• Work-based learning and internships that help people discover careers they love

• Second Chance Hiring support through the HOPES Program

• Professional development that supports educators and strengthens classrooms across the state
