Assistant Manager - 374 Kitchen + Cocktails

Seeking full time assistant manager to support daily restaurant operations and deliver an exceptional guest experience. This role is highly visible on the floor and requires a hands-on leader who can guide the team, maintain service standards, and help ensure each shift runs smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities include:

  • Support the General Manager in overseeing daily front of house operations.
  • Lead the floor during assigned shifts, including opening and closing the restaurant.
  • Maintain a strong presence in the dining room and assist with guest concerns, table visits, and service recovery.
  • Support the host team and help manage reservations, the waitlist, seating flow, and overall pacing of the dining room.
  • Supervise, coach, and motivate servers, bartenders, hosts, runners, and support staff.
  • Assist with training and onboarding new front of house employees.
  • Reinforce service standards, menu knowledge, allergy procedures, appearance standards, and restaurant policies.
  • Coordinate closely with the kitchen, bar, and management team to maintain efficient communication and service.
  •  Assist with shift assignments, side work, breaks, staffing adjustments, and employee performance issues.
  • Monitor dining room cleanliness, organization, ambiance, and readiness throughout service. 
  • Assist with cash handling, drawer reconciliation, tip procedures, comps, voids, and closing reports. 
  • Help manage inventory and restocking of front of house supplies. 
  • Respond professionally to guest feedback and help resolve issues promptly and appropriately. 
  • Help maintain compliance with food safety, alcohol service, workplace safety, and company standards. 
  • Step into other operational areas as needed to support the team and the success of the restaurant. 

Qualifications: 

  • Previous restaurant leadership or supervisory experience preferred. 
  • Strong understanding of front of house restaurant operations. 
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Confident, professional, and calm in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Ability to coach employees, address concerns, and hold team members accountable. 
  • Guest-focused mindset with strong hospitality instincts. 
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts. 
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift restaurant supplies as needed.
