Exciting Opportunity: Join Mohegan Sun as a Lead Barista!
Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and crafting unforgettable experiences? Mohegan Sun is looking for an enthusiastic shift leader to join our team! As a Lead Barista, you’ll be at the heart of our coffee shops, guiding baristas and serving our guests.
What You’ll Do:
- Ensure the store remains safe, clean, and fully stocked for our customers and partners
- Confidently operate the point of sale (POS) system, including handling comps and voids with ease
- Create delicious coffee beverages and specialty drinks, and prepare food orders to perfection
- Lead by example—assign daily stations and support your team throughout each shift
How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Communicate inventory needs and report maintenance issues to management for smooth operations
- Set up stations and take on opening/closing duties as directed by your supervisor
- Manage stock orders and ensure timely delivery and storage of supplies
- Support new baristas in their training and certification journey
- Uphold and champion Starbucks’ safety and sanitation standards
What We’re Looking For:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in fast food or restaurant service
- Knowledge of POS cash handling preferred
