Senior Sales Leader, B2B Local Sales - Kitchen Guard of Fairfield & Westchester
Company Description Kitchen Guard of Fairfield & Westchester is the newest outpost of a 15 year-old company specializing in professional commercial kitchen exhaust cleaning and fire prevention solutions to keep businesses compliant, protected, and operational. We provide high-quality, hood and exhaust cleaning, maintenance and repair services to ensure fire safety compliance for commercial kitchens in Fairfield and Westchester.
Role Description:
This is a full-time, salary + commission role based in Stamford, CT, for a Senior Sales Leader. The Senior Sales Leader will be responsible for managing day-to-day sales operations, customer interactions, conducting kitchen exhaust inspections, training sales team members, and overseeing sales management in the local area. This is a hybrid field-and-sales role that combines site inspections, safety assessments, customer education, and outbound sales work. You’ll climb ladders, inspect rooftops, and walk clients through the risks they didn’t even know they had—then close the deal to fix it.
Qualifications:
- High energy Sales Leader with a "hunter" mindset and attitude
- Expert communication and Customer Service skills
- Sales experience, ideally B2B or field-based Able to complete the physical demands of kitchen and exhaust system inspections (comfort with ladders, rooftops, and physical site work)
- Technically literate and able to track and use a CRM to track leads and develop proposals
- Experience in training and mentoring sales teams
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills Proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Knowledge of fire safety regulations and compliance is a plus (not required)
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field CRM experience a plus (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot)
- Self-starter with a high level of integrity and hustle
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough on-site inspections of commercial kitchens in accordance with NFPA 96
- Assess hood, duct, fan, and exhaust system conditions Identify deficiencies, fire hazards, or competitor shortcut work
- Prepare estimates and proposals using ServiceMinder (training provided)
- Educate clients on compliance standards, fire risks, and cleaning requirements
- Close sales with both new and existing customers
- Maintain CRM hygiene and follow-up rigorously on all leads
- Build and manage local relationships with fire marshals, inspectors, and property managers
