Lexie graduated from the University of Louisville with a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership and Learning, a minor in Leadership and Talent Development, and a certificate in Human Resources. After relocating to Connecticut in 2023, she is attending UCONN’s School of Public Policy in pursuit of a Masters Degree in Public Administration and a certificate in Nonprofit Administration.
“Having grown up with two professional chef parents, I learned early on the importance of hospitality, craftsmanship, and nourishing community. My upbringing was deeply rooted in nonprofit values—I not only attended but also worked alongside institutions dedicated to serving others, which shaped my passion for equitable access and civic engagement. I’m energized to bring my experience and enthusiasm to my CHEF internship, where I am to contribute meaningfully to the industry and empower the next generation of culinary professionals.”
