CRHA Team Announcement | Welcome Sophia, Operations Assistant
Welcome to Team CRHA, Sophia Andrade!
We're excited to share that Sophia Andrade has started in a full-time role with the Connecticut Restaurant & Hospitality Association as Operations Assistant, beginning May 18, following her graduation from the UConn Master’s in Public Administration program.
Sophia joined CRHA last fall as a Legislative and Event Management Intern and quickly became an important part of the team. In her new role, she will serve in a cross-functional capacity supporting membership, events, communications, ServSafe, and general association operations.
In addition to her work with CRHA, Sophia brings firsthand hospitality industry experience, having worked for three years as a food truck manager in her hometown of Bristol.
As Sophia shared in her own words: “After starting with CRHA as a Legislative and Event Management Intern, I’m proud to continue my journey as a full-time Operations Assistant. During my internship, I gained hands-on experience in event coordination, member communications, legislative support, and daily association operations, all while learning from an incredible team. I’m grateful for the experience and look forward to continuing to grow professionally while supporting Connecticut’s industry. I’m thankful to remain part of such an amazing team and continue contributing to the important work CRHA does every day.”
Please join us in congratulating and welcoming Sophia into her new role at CRHA!
