We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
  • Assist in menu planning and ingredient selection to ensure freshness and variety
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
  • Handle food with proper hygiene practices, including proper storage and sanitation
  • Assist with food plating and presentation for optimal visual appeal Support the team during busy service times, ensuring timely meal delivery
  • Follow all safety procedures related to kitchen equipment and food handling
  • Contribute to inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of shortages
  • Collaborate with dietary department staff to accommodate special dietary needs or restrictions 

Experience

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred, especially in fine dining or catering settings Background in dietary aide or dietary department roles is a plus
  • Proven skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly
  • Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking methods
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
  • Experience with menu planning and meal presentation is advantageous
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills within a fast-paced kitchen environment
