CONNECTICUT RESTAURANT ASSOCIATION PARTNERS WITH GONATION, CT FOOD LOVERS & 203 LOCAL
CT EATS WEEK is a signature event hosted exclusively by the Connecticut Restaurant Association and GoNation to showcase and celebrate restaurants across the state. All members of the Connecticut Restaurant Association are invited to participate.
Funds raised during CT Eats Week help to support the Connecticut Hospitality Educational Foundation (CHEF), the non-profit 501(c)3, philanthropic arm of the Connecticut Restaurant Association (CRA). Its mission is to enhance the restaurant industry’s service to the public by developing a well-educated, well-trained workforce. CHEF works to attract, develop and retain a career-oriented professional workforce for the restaurant industry through education for future restaurant industry professionals, workforce development opportunities and scholarships. CT Eats Week will support CHEF's flagship event, the Connecticut ProStart Invitational on February 28 at Gateway Community College in New Haven, featuring Connecticut high school students in the ProStart Program competing in culinary and restaurant management competitions for scholarship dollars and a spot to compete in the National ProStart Invitational in Washington, DC. |

REQUIREMENTS
- Participating restaurants may choose any special focus - prefixe menu, special drink or menu items, free appetizer or dessert, etc. Goal is to create a dining experience that showcases the restaurant's cuisine while generating value and excitement for consumers to CT EATS WEEK.
- Participating restaurants should email menu or specials to [email protected] on or before Feb 18. The menus will go live on the website by February 20 and promoted to the media -- make sure your menu is ready!
- Event registration fee is a tax-deductible donation to benefit the Connecticut Hospitality Education Foundation, is the non-profit 501(c)3, philanthropic arm of the Connecticut Restaurant Association (CRA). Its mission is to enhance the restaurant industry’s service to the public by developing a well-educated, well-trained workforce. CHEF works to attract, develop and retain a career-oriented professional workforce for the restaurant industry through education for future restaurant industry professionals, workforce development opportunities and scholarships. CHEF is dedicated to the development of future restaurant industry leaders through educational programs like ProStart, a two year culinary and management program for high school students.
- Minimum donation is $100 for members and $200 for non-members. For restaurant groups with multiple locations, please add $50 for each participating location.
