WHAT IS PROSTART WEEKEND?
ProStart Weekend is a signature event brought to you by the CT Restaurant Association and its philanthropic 501c3, the CT Hospitality Educational Foundation. ProStart is a high school culinary program that reaches over 3,000 students in 19 high schools in Connecticut. Your participation and donation will support the future of the hospitality industry.
We recently spoke with Bryce Hardy, owner of The Charles and Bake Market in Wethersfield, about his participation in ProStart Weekend, why he chose to participate and how he helped raise over $1,000 at his restaurant in 2023.
