2025 CRA Golf Classic & Chef Farm Dinner Highlights ⛳️
We embraced yesterday’s heat wave and hosted the annual CRA Golf Classic and Chef Farm Dinner, presented by Sysco! The annual CRA Golf Classic is our second-largest event of the year, bringing together 260 golfers and 300 dinner guests, including restaurant operators and industry vendors from across the state, for a fantastic day of golf, incredible food, and unmatched networking. Hosted at Lyman Orchards, the event takes over both Player and Jones courses, and includes food and drink pitstops throughout the player's rounds—especially welcome during this year’s record-breaking heat! ☀ ![]() Following a day on the course, the guests gathered in the shade for the Chef Farm Dinner, sponsored by Performance Foodservice. The chefs collaborated to create an incredible menu featuring passed hors d’oeuvres, breads & spreads, and a three-course meal, all sourcing from local farms and purveyors. A heartfelt thank you to all the chefs for your hard work, creativity, and for powering through the heat—it was truly amazing! ![]() The Chefs also received support from some of our ProStart students from a variety of CT schools. The students showcased their skills and helped prepare and plate each dish for the 300 guests.
