CHEF Awards $5,000 in Scholarships to Support Future Hospitality Leaders

The Connecticut Hospitality Educational Foundation is proud to announce the recipients of the 2025 CHEF Scholarships, which recognize and support outstanding Connecticut students pursuing careers in the hospitality industry. This year, a total of $5,000 in scholarships have been awarded across four deserving students.
Two students were honored with the Joe DaCosta Memorial Scholarship, named in memory of longtime hospitality advocate Joe DaCosta:

Hayden Anderson, a senior at Norwich Free Academy, who will be attending the Culinary Institute of America in the fall.

Estrella Delgado, also a senior at Norwich Free Academy, who will begin her studies at Johnson & Wales University in the fall.
Additionally, two students received CHEF Scholarships in recognition of their hard work, passion, and commitment to the industry:

Carter Nadeau,, a senior at Northwestern Regional High School, who is attending Johnson & Wales University in the fall.

Thomas Migliore, a Southington High School senior, who will attend Johnson & Wales University in the fall.
