Thank you for showing up & making an impact!The halls of the State Capitol’s North Lobby were filled with hundreds of restaurateurs, foodservice business owners, vendors, legislators and state officials, coming together for the third annual Night at the Capitol! Attendees sampled food and drinks from over 25 restaurants representing the power and talent of the Connecticut hospitality industry. This important demonstration gave legislators a meaningful opportunity to meet with the people and businesses their proposed bills are directly impacting. ProStart Students Showcase Their Skills!Culinary students from Norwich Free Academy represented the ProStart Program at Night at the Capitol! The students did a fantastic job, and served up smoked polish kielbasa with a braised red cabbage, potato & cheese perogies with horseradish sour cream & chive oil, and lemon meringue pie with strawberry coulis. ![]() This event was an excellent opportunity to highlight the program and the impressive talents of ProStart students!
